In the context of Chapter 10’s explanations on rape and this video on date rape (above), what does explain date rape? Also, besides what is discussed in the textbook, do you think are there elements of American culture that might promote crimes against women? Is there anything in the media or in sports that might cause sexual violence? What about our religious and/or political beliefs? If so, what can be done to change or alter those cultural effects?
