How Could Warner Bros Use Twitter Analytics?

Twitter’s analytics could help Warner Bros Company appreciate how the content shared on Twitter could grow their business by enabling them to get a fuller understanding of its clients, customers, and stakeholder groups in different ways. Through the account home feature, Warner Bros Company could explore their monthly twitter insights regarding activity and interactions, where they could learn about the tweet volume, the number of visits on their profile, including followers, and the tweets that mention the company’s name. They could also get insights into the tweets that mentioned the company name with the most impressions as well as the top follower with the largest number of followers. Using this information, Warner Bros Company could set goals together with campaigns or seasonal initiatives that will ensure future success.

Through the tweet activity dashboard feature, the company could gain insights into every tweet by tracking the number of impressions, engagements and the engagement rates per day. By accessing individual tweets, they could get a much more detailed breakdown on the engagements. They would be privy to the number of video views, link clicks, likes, retweets, replies, detail expands and profile clicks. This information could help Warner Bros learn what its audience prefers and as a result update the content they tweet to appeal to its audience.

The audience insights is another twitter analytics tool that Warner Bros could take advantage of since it helps with understanding the twitter followers better. It allows the company to track the follower growth, their interests, and their demographics such as gender, language and location, lifestyles and even mobile devices being used. Monitoring its audience’s growth will allow warner bros to create content that always remains relevant to the changing customers’ preferences, which could, in turn, boost the company’s engagement potential.

The campaign dashboard is the last twitter analytics tool that Warner Bros could benefit from. This tool focuses on tracking the performance of the company’s Twitter ads. It can be utilized by the company to set goals and grow the business through tracking accurate results in a timely manner. It enables the company to track how many times the company ads have been viewed by followers, the results, which are actions that are tied to the company’s objectives, and the engagement rate of the company which is the number of impressions for ads divided by the number of results.

I think you are making really good points on Warner Bros. On the “Tweets” tab; you can see Impressions, Engagements and Engagement Rate Engagements divided by Impressions for each tweet, for paid and organic posts. Engagements include all activity on the tweet: retweets, follows replies, favorites, and all clicks on the tweet, link, hashtag, etc.

I currently am a professor for Toccoa Falls College. I also put in 6-8 hours a week helping the Toccoa Falls College communication team. The team consists of one full time employee, who must also be the backup to the President’s executive assistant. So she is never 100% dedicated to her Communication Director role. Additionally, one student works 10-12 hours a week to assist the Communications director. This role is usually one of conducting interviews, taking photographs and occasionally writing News releases.

The school does not pay for any social media CRM software, which makes true evaluation difficult but not impossible. The school utilizes Google alerts, Twitter analytics and Facebook analytics to find posts that they can continue the conversation on. But many days these leads are simply not followed up on, as one Communications person is never going to be able to cover all the bases.

I have proposed to the President’s office a few ways we can better manage all channels of communication, including social channels. I have offered additional hours at nominal cost per hour as I want to see our school continue to thrive and grow. But the reality is that if the school continues to grow without tools in place to help continue conversations, educate, enlighten and entertain potential students, we will never get additional resources. And as a professor I have to be mindful of my place within the organization so that I do not upset my chances at the Communication Chair position I am being groomed for.

Social media has made marketing easier for marketers can get access to a wide range of potential customers and clients. I would like to work for a company which will be using Twitter to communicate with stakeholders and customers. I admire a company which will use Twitter Analytics to get access to information about the number of Twitter users who shared, saw, shared, and commented on the company’s tweets. This will help the organization to know the interests of the organization’s audience. Besides, the firm will be in a position to view its audience demographics in the Twitter Analytics. Viewing customers’ languages, age groups, country, purchasing behaviors and gender will help the company to come up with appropriate strategies to offer services or products which meet the needs of its customers.

The management of the company for which I will work will apply Sprout Social as a Twitter Analytics tool. When Sprout Social is used, the firm can see individuals who see its brand and who mention the brand. This is viewed through the Twitter Keyword report. The company can use the information to decide on the location to carry out marketing campaigns. Besides, Sprout Social assists in streamlining responsibilities and communication crosswise segments (Sproutsocial.com). As a result, the company will have effective communication with stakeholders and will have a better understanding of their needs and roles.
