In today’s world, it’s difficult to see a nuclear family that embraces all of society’s diverse forms as the perfect family(Whitney, 2018). Many families are made up of single parents, while others are childless. Because there is no wife or husband in same-sex weddings, it is also difficult to define the family in the traditional sense. In light of these considerations, cultures must explore or accept non-traditional family patterns that were previously unaccepted. This is mostly due to the fact that such acknowledgement makes people of society feel socially accepted, regardless of the structure or form of their family. Unavoidable circumstances force some non-traditional family structures, such as single-parent families, to emerge. As a result, in today’s society, it’s critical to understand distinct family configurations.According to the Bowen family system theory, the family functions as an emotional system in which each family member has a specific job to play and must adhere to certain rules (Hesar, 2018). Roles in the emotional system grow, patterns in the emotional system develop, and one member’s behavior impacts the others, according to Bowen’s theory and study on families. Bowen’s family systems theory proposes that these behavioral patterns may lead to systemic balance or dysfunction, or both, depending on how specific interpersonal and affective systems work. Family members work together in family systems therapy to better understand their group dynamics, to help the family collaborate more effectively as a whole, and to understand how their behavior impacts the rest of the family. “What happens to one family member will happen to everyone in the family,” is the driving idea. This is in line with family systems theory, as emotions like worry or anxiety spread from one person to all of their relationships over time, leading to more significant issues (Hesar,2018). During family system therapy, each family member is given the chance to express themselves and discuss any concerns they may have in order to improve the family’s functioning. The entire family then collaborates to develop solutions to lessen individual and family stress.  Reference Hesar, J.N., Arefi, M., & Yousefi, N. (2018).
