   According to the authors of our textbook, “instructional designers should   consider how words and pictures work together to create meaning for the   learner” (p.70). Explain what this means in your own words.  Then, list   each type of graphic identified in the text (i.e., decorative graphics,   representational graphics, etc.) and find at least one example for each,   using the internet.  Evaluate which types of graphics can be effective   in promoting learning, and describe the contexts in which you think they   would be most effective.  Remember to cite the location of the graphics   you include, as you would any other resource in a response.
 

Guided Response: Respond to at least two of your classmates examining   the contexts that each of them described.  Do you agree with their   evaluations?  Why or why not?
