It has been noted that depression and anxiety may share a common, genetically determined biological vulnerability (Barlow, 2002, as cited in Barlow & Durand, 2015). More generally, researchers have identified biological, psychological, and social factorsthat seem to be strongly implicated in mood disorders (Barlow & Durand, 2015)
