In Week 1, you began formulating the introduction to your quantitative research plan. This week, you will submit the introduction, which serves as the first place where a reader will gather the purpose and intention of your proposed research.

To prepare for this Application: Review the two texts from RSCH 8101: Research Theory, Design, and Methods: Research Design: Qualitative, Quantitative, and Mixed Methods Approaches Chapter 8, “Quantitative Methods” A Primer in Theory Construction Chapter 1, “Introduction” Chapter 2, “The Idea” Chapter 3, “Concepts” Chapter 4, “Statements” Chapter 5, “Forms of Theories” Review the assigned chapters in the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association to ensure that your in-text citations and reference list are accurate.
