After reading the Facebook mobile ad case study one can come to realize the importance of advertising on social media and how that can benefit a company’s revenue. In the beginning of Facebook, the only advertising that they were doing was the sponsored stories. Facebook was worried that the users would not appreciate the ads on there news feed. Facebook struggled to integrate to the mobile network in the beginning. They have reported little revenue gain until they started to run advertisements on there news feed and from there they started to grow. In having a functioning online mobile app Facebook was able to access the world and grow revenue. Running the mobile ads turned out to be the key to there success but they must walk a fine line as to not overload their news feeds with ads.

When you look at a company like Taco Bell it is not enough to have advertisements in their stores for their products. Them having access to social media and mobile outlets can prove imperative to their business. Everyone these days have a mobiles device and most people use them from sun up to sun down. If a company like Taco Bell wants people to see their ad without driving past their store, Facebook or Snapchat is a way to draw customers in. Having online ads on social media will allow Taco Bell to advertise new product and let people know about deals to bring them into their store. When Taco Bell started running ads of the new Crunchy Beef Burrito on Snapchat and Twitter it brought customer in. Utilizing these outlets gets peoples attention and makes the customer hungry for there food which is the main gain goal.
