Even-number teams (Team 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14): Write your memo from the perspective of an incumbent (e.g., Dean’s Office at Scheller). As the incumbents, are you worried about any potential disruptive forces in the industry of undergraduate business education? Why or why not? Your memo should 1) provide an analysis of the market opportunities in the industry, 2) discuss whether you think virtual reality may generate a “technology inflection point” (see slide 3) that enables disrupters to quickly overtake incumbents, and 3) lay out a plan of defense (e.g., changes to product features and customer targets, if necessary).

Your memo should be 1 page with the following format requirements: 12-point, Times New Roman font, 1-inch margins on all sides, 1.5-spaced. You should only include supporting figures, tables, and references if necessary, which must be included on the same page. Please submit your memo as a PDF. Memos written on the wrong strategic decision will receive a zero. Failures to comply with the formatting requirements will result in a 5-point penalty.
