Child Development

This assignment has two parts.

The first part is an observation of a classroom.

You will need to describe in one or two paragraphs how the classroom is set up. Where are things in the classroom placed. Why do you think this was done?
Next you will discuss what the daily schedule looks like. Again, talk about why some subject are at what parts of the day.
Finally you will talk about the ways families and cultures are integrated into the classroom.

While inserted pictures may lend clarity, they are not necessary.

Part two

Write a guidance philosophy statement stating his/her beliefs about the goals of guidance and how to support those goals in a classroom setting.

Each part will be 500 words in length. The total paper will be a minimum of 1000 words. This will be in one submission please, not multiple submissions.
