Gender Inequality

Women in the U.S. have made great strides when it comes to achieving social equality, specifically in regards to education, employment in once male-dominated fields, and marriage and family planning. Women are getting closer and closer to breaking through the metaphorical “glass ceiling.” What’s more, women now actually make up a slight majority of the entire U.S. population. Yet after all these successes and advances, women still only fill a small fraction of seats on Capitol Hill.
