library program

Develop a library program or outreach event for adults (any population e.g. older adults, parents, job seekers, genealogists, incarcerated, homeless, younger adults (twenty somethings), etc. In an essay of approximately 1000 words describe the program or event, what materials you’ll need, presenters to be hired, what the attendees will learn or do, number of staff, will the program be offered during regular library hours or after hours? Will you require reservations? Is there a limit to the number of attendees? Include information about how you will market/promote the program as well as a detailed budget of all expenses. There is no limit to the budget, but be somewhat realistic about the expenses and describe where the funds will be derived from such as a grant from the Friends of the Library or other organization, a line item in the library’s budget, etc. Due by midnight March 25, 2018.
