You will create your own floor plan using Kaplan’s floor planner found at https://www.kaplanco.com/resources/floorplanner.asp (Links to an external site.)Links to an external site.

• Create either an indoor or outdoor floor plan for a selected population( infants, toddlers, preschool/kindergarteners, or school-age children).
• Create the environment integrating the essential elements for creativity: space, color, sensory, appeal, belongingness, aesthetics, and nature.
• Create an environment that is developmentally appropriate for your selected population. Make sure you include at least two accommodations for diverse learners (p.80-81).
• Briefly describe what aspects you included in your learning environment and why.
• Briefly discuss which Habits of Mind you used for this assignment and how they assisted you.
