week 2 Discussion – Must be a total of 700 words.

The Florida proposal discussed in Week One seems to be one example of a widespread belief that studying the humanities and liberal arts is not worthwhile. Reflect on the defenses of the liberal arts given in the videos and articles required for this week. Which arguments do you find convincing? Which arguments are weak? How would you defend the value of liberal arts education?
