For this week’s assignment, you will be writing a blog post. Strategies should have an evidence-based rationale, meet student needs, and clearly have a purpose for instruction. In this blog, you will be describing three or four strategies that you use in your classroom (or would like to use) and explaining how they meet those three criteria. Remember that when an author blogs, it is usually with the intent to convince others to share his/her line of thinking. Thoughts/points to guide your blog should include the following:

• What strategies do I use that have all three of the following: evidence-based rationale, meet students needs, and have a clear purpose for instruction?
• Why do I use those strategies over and over again? What makes them stand out?
• What are some of the easiest ways to being using these strategies in the classroom?
• How do students react to these strategies?
