Introduction
Throughout your engineering career, you will undoubtedly face many instances where you must solve some type of communication problem between two or more audiences, each with their own sets of concerns, limitations, and considerations. These problems may be interpersonal, such as a personality conflict between coworkers or departments, or they may be merely a byproduct of doing business, e.g., paperwork has been left unfiled, regulations that have been left unfulfilled, or even a misstep in public relations. As such, young engineers such as yourselves need to enter the workforce understanding how to navigate such communication scenarios effectively, and how to make sure you are able to keep a project moving forward.
