What is Schrödinger’s Cat?

According to Wikipedia, “Schrödinger’s cat is a thought experiment, sometimes described as a paradox, devised by Austrian physicist Erwin Schrödinger in 1935. It illustrates what he saw as the problem of the Copenhagen interpretation of quantum mechanics applied to everyday objects.” This famous Schrödinger’s Cat experiment challenges whether we are dreaming, we are awake or perhaps awake and dreaming. What is consciousness?

I’d like to get a very easy and understanding explanation on this question I have since I’m very confused about all this.

I also need some sort of activity or game based on Schrödinger’s Cat for the whole class to participate in since this will be presentation based.
