Discussion 1.1:Leadership Paradox and Inter-team Relations

Management is one necessary value that will cause a major difference in work output. Best leader’s quality and personality will make a healthy and easy way of handling a given task with the best result. There are various ways of having or maintaining a group in which everyone knows these things which I prefer in person and follow the leader and be a motivation to the team by the way that he schedules and encourages others to have a strong relationship. This makes everyone in the team to be more humble to the fellow teammates and also can help to share their information with every person, which internally makes them grow in their professional life. Alternatively, there is also another way of leadership which gets the input from all the members and then discusses the pros and cons which later figures out the best way for the outcome. But the negatives of this are, as we have lots of people involving in the decisions and everyone can feel that their input would work and gives a better result. And also another thing is the time, many people involving in this decision making would be taking much time for getting implemented or even approval of the given suggestion. ( Daniel R. Denison(1995))

The best approach to have the participative management would be encouraging and appreciating the individual for every contribution they provide. This will be making everyone feels that they are one of the key people playing an important role in the position they are in. This can be implemented by seeking subsequent up with each individual approach to the task and letting them know their unique skill of presenting and also providing a good feedbacks that let everyone keeps motivated.

The worst experience in the event of misassumptions would be a lag delay in the timeline to provide the final output. But the worst thing than this would also be the loss of quality environment between the employees/teams.

I have faced an issue in my workplace where all my technical team has an agreement with the timeline but the production team is in conflict with that. Then we have to have a meeting to first figure out the cause and realized that it is all because of their misunderstanding that if we are scheduling the hard deadline. Later we have explained the scenarios and figured out that these are from the clients that everyone needed to be followed. (Baumgartner, E. (2011)).

Discussion 1.2: Leadership Paradox and Inter-team Relations

Managers and leaders are main to the team members. They have a lot of experience of work and experienced with in organization. As we discussed before topic in this subject, leaders have border organizational culture. Leadership paradox is defined as a similar as breaking out border organizational culture. In this situation the group needed a leader or a head, but the group autonomy is affected when the leader is present. It helps in showing a reference to get a well-defined leadership. This leadership paradox is nothing but a different way of systematic roles.

There will be a complex tension to justify individuals and groups and, in this scenario, have a topic of curiosity and fear, which gives more importance to the organization in the same time considered as a negligible.

Most of the organizations follow the strategies to encourage participative management. Some of the basic ideas are sense of pride, communication, innovations and flexible environment (right environment).

By satisfying employees which increases the production of work in an organization and makes organization back on track. Rewarding employees for creativity and their innovative ideas. In the sense of communication sharing the information with the team and group members about the company situation and making collaborative work environment.

Biases are misassumptions obviously makes the teams which are involved in some of the conflict situations like inter-team conflict. These situations which can be pre-judge the effects of factors that are influenced on the organization goals, team goals or an individual work.

By supporting to an individual in a team which may cause not being able to be on same page with other teams which arise an inter group conflict which delays the process and finally cause the ability of teams or groups to accomplish their goals. This limits to proactively scheduled team building meetings.
