EDI Reference Guide
The final paper has very strict grading guidelines. Here are some tips to make you successful:
Write a 1,050-word reference guide describing electronic data interchange (EDI).
- Make sure you FULLY address the topics. Use headers to identify the topics as you discuss them:
- Define electronic data interchange (EDI).
- Explain how using EDI facilitates electronic transactions.
- Explain how HIPAA has changed how health care information is transmitted in EDI.
- Describe the relationship between Electronic Health Records, reimbursement, HIPAA, and EDI transactions.
- Use an APA Title Page (if your name is NOT on your paper, I am NOT going to grade it)
- Include an introduction paragraph and conclusion paragraph – this is one of the grading criteria
- Use APA style to write your paper
- Double spaced
- No contractions
- Use citations and references with correct formatting
- Spell and grammar check your paper prior to turning in
- Include at least 3 references*
- Do not plagiarize someone else’s work. Write the material in YOUR OWN WORDS (paraphrase!), include outside citations (Splettstosser, 2016) and references. If you have a high similarity score , I will not grade the paper.
Run a scan of your own paper prior to turning in: https://ecampus.phoenix.edu/secure/aapd/grammar/plagiarism.asp
If your score is higher than 20%, I would suggest you continue to work on your paraphrasing, citations and references.
Scores over 20% will receive a deduction, Scores over 30% will not be graded.
- You may use one short (less than 20 words) direct quote per page only.
