At this point in the course you have been exposed to many examples of illicit activity. For this
next assignment I want you to research and chose a documentary video that examines one aspect
of transnational organize crime. Examples are human trafficking, drugs, money laundering etc.
The video must be longer than 30mins in length. I also expect that you chose a credible
documentary. I realize that credible is up to interruption. I encourage you to choose a
documentary video that does not appear biased; the information is presented in an interesting
format but not done at the expense of credibility. After you have viewed the video you will
answer the following question:

1) What about this documentary perspective is unique compared to the readings this
semester?

2) What details presented in the documentary were new to you?

3) What element about the documentary was flawed?

4) After viewing the documentary video what should be done to address the issue?

Papers should describe the video in a brief summary before tackling the questions. They should
be no less than three pages and no more than five. When describing what should be done to
address the issue described in your documentary I expect at least two outside sources. This mean
you cite your video (1 source) and a minimum of two additional outside academic sources. I encourage you to choose something unique, current and
interesting.
