II. Summary: Briefly summarize the film’s plot, genre (comedy, drama, satire, etc.) and characterization of the
issue(s). (This section should be no more than one paragraph.)
III. Analysis: Apply at least three of the sociological concepts discussed in class to the film’s treatment of the
issue(s). Compare and contrast the film’s treatment of the issue(s) to class readings and discussions on the same
topic(s). How realistic is the portrayal of the issue(s)? If the film is more than 10 years old, how has the portrayal
of the issue in the media changed since it was made?
V. Conclusion: Would you recommend the film to others interested in finding out more about the topic(s) it
portrays? Does the film advance public awareness on the issue(s) or simply reinforce stereotypes
