I enjoyed working with clients in a capacity where I was able to make a positive difference. It doesn’t get much better than that. However, that type of work over time can be repetitious and physically demanding, so I eventually had to transition to a different track. I went back to school and got a degree in health education. This late in the game, I feel that the medical assistant program is the ideal choice because it will fulfill my desire to work in health care on the clinical side. Working in health care feels natural because I’ve always been drawn to health and wellness. Plus, I prefer movement in a job, and the ability to work directly with people, as opposed to being chained to a desk all day.Good luck this semester.
