This week we have the opportunity to review organizational concepts. According to Marquis and Huston (2014), “every organization should be viewed as being part of a greater community of stakeholders” (p. 266). For this week’s discussion question, answer the following:

Describe the importance of stakeholders, including external and internal stakeholders. Examine the organization where you currently work and identify the stakeholders. In your opinion, do you feel these stakeholders are supportive or threatening to your organization? Identify the source of power for each group of stakeholders. Which groups have authority?

Support your discussion and opinions with facts, relevant examples from personal nursing practice, and at least two citations from the reading or peer-reviewed professional nursing literature. Remember to use APA 6th edition formatting for all discussion posts and reference citations.
