Please complete the part3, 4,5 according to the materials and requirements I provided.

This is a project about restaurant analysis. I have finished the part of it. Please complete the part3, 4,5 according to the materials and requirements I provided.

Team Project – Part 3 – Measure

This project is designed to allow you to complete primary components of a quality improvement project. The information for areas of improvement will come from Quality Trees and a ServQual assessment. You will use this information to work through the Six Sigma DMAIC Measurement process. You will need to define the Critical to Quality elements and how to measure them.

Measure Phase:

  1. Continue to revise and develop CTQ Trees as needed. Use the in-class exercise sheet that we did on 1/23. Write a brief narrative to explain your conclusions. (the last question on the sheet)
  2. Complete a ServQual assessment. Determine major gaps. Include a narrative of your findings.
  3. List the new and revised (if you revised them) CTQ components of this project.
  4. Decide on an appropriate tool to measure each CTQ. Use these tools to establish baseline measurements (as reasonably possible) for all CTQ points. Record each measurement on a separate chart. Note: I realize this is a class exercise, so “develop” the tool that you would use and fill it in as reasonably possible. I realize that you might not be able to actually employ the tool because it would be unreasonable.

Additional Grading Considerations:

  1. Document is professionally written using the language of Six Sigma.
  2. Document is written and formatted as if it were being presented to a Senior executive and sponsor of your project.
  3. The procedure for the use of the tools was followed correctly.
  4. Were the results presented in graphical format as specified (ie Flowchart, CTQ baseline and control charts, Pareto Charts)?

Project – Part 4 – Analyze (and improve)

In this phase, You will decide on future actions to take. This is the “how” phase. tell me how you would fix the problems.

-You will prepare recommendations for improving each CTQ component. Basically, you will tell me how you intend to fix each each and every problem that you mentioned.

-You will prepare (as needed) a suitable Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) or other instructions for use by the departments when this process is implemented.

Project – Part 5 – (Improve and) Control

Control (we skipped improve because this is a class exercise)

You will prepare a report on how to continue the improvement process. Answer the following points:

-what they could do to monitor these changes, (2-3 pages)

-what they could do to ensure improvement occurs in the future, (1-2 pages)

-what you learned, (1 page)

-what you would do differently if you needed to do this project over, and (1/2 page)

-which of these skills and tools you feel are most valuable in the “real world”. (1/2 page)

Brief a case

Brief 3 cases:

1. RAINBOW TRAVEL SERVICE v. HILTON HOTELS CORPORATION

2. DANIEL D. FOLEY v. INTERACTIVE DATA CORPORATION

3. MEXICALI ROSE et al. v. THE SUPERIOR COURT OF ALAMEDA COUNTY

How to Brief a Case

PURPOSE: A case brief should not be a summary of the entire case. Instead, it should be a synopsis of the case broken down into logical segments. Thus, you should be able to review your case brief to recall the case so as to discuss the case. A brief should be no more than 1-3 pages for any case.

SEGMENTS: You should outline the case using these logical segments:

– P=Procedural History: What is the procedure that brought the case to this point; i.e., Appeal from a jury or bench trial judgement or granting of a motion for summary judgement.

– F=Facts of Case: In this section you should not re-cite all of the facts of the case, but only the most relevant ones to the case, rule of law and provide a bases for you to recall the case so as to discuss it.

– I=Issues Presented by the Case: In this section you should outline the legal issue presented, such as in the Larson case (chair falling from the sky): Did the doctrine of Res ispa Loquitur apply to this case when the chair fell out of the sky and hit the plaintiff?

– R=Rule of Law Applicable to the Case: In this section you should outline the actual legal rule that the court was asked to decide in the case. As for example, in the Larson case: For the doctrine of Res Ispa Loquitur to apply, the plaintiff must be able to establish that the instrumentality of the injury was within the exclusive control of the hotel and that the type of incident would not normally occur unless someone was negligent.

– A=Application of the Law to the Issues and Facts Presented: In this section you should discuss briefly how the law applies to the facts and legal issue presented. As for example, in the Larson case, this section may read: Here, the doctrine of Res Ispa Loquitur should not apply because the hotel was not in exclusive control of the chair, but rather at least the hotel guest whose room the chair came from would have had control over the chair. The hotel cannot control what the guest do in their room, to hold otherwise would require the hotel to place a guard in every room to make sure that a guest does not open a window and throw out a chair.

– C=Conclusion: In this section you should discuss the courts ruling or holding and whether or not you agree with it and why or why not. Again, not another discussion of the Application section, just your conclusion.

    Art Discussion

    Discussion 1:

Tracking the Changes in Visual Culture

Saint Augustine is credited with saying, “The New Testament lies hidden in the Old and the Old Testament is unveiled in the New.”

In your readings this week, you explored the development of a new religion called Christianity.

Most religions base their rituals, imagery, and dogma on earlier religious sects. This helped make the transition easier for the new converts. In the case of the early Christians, they looked to the polytheistic practices and holidays of the Romans as well as the Jewish belief structure as outlined in the Old Testament.

For this week’s discussion, let us look at how many examples of repurposing we can find. What rituals, holidays, icons, and symbols can we identify as having their foundations in one of the other religions we read about this week? Let us see what we can find.

    Discussion 2: ( See attachment)

    Art Reaction Journal

    Discussion Introduction

Chapter 3 in our An Introduction to Art Criticism textbook introduced us to interpretation and analysis. For this discussion, apply what you read to critically analyze a work of Jewish, Christian, or Islamic art, using some of the language of art analysis.

Here is a review of the four-step process:

    1. Name and describe the facts. Simply identify the objects in the artwork by describing what you see.
    2. Analyze the facts. Using the language of art, describe what elements of the artwork catch your attention. These could be elements such as shapes, lines, colors, or textures.
    3. Interpret the evidence. Based upon what you learned in steps 1 and 2, what do you think the artwork is about? What ideas, moods, emotions, messages, or stories do you think the artwork communicates?
    4. Judge the work of art. Do the objects, elements, and meaning of the artwork achieve the desired result, in comparison with other works of art?

    Discussion

For this discussion, select one image from any of those found in Chapters 7, 8, and 9 in your Art History text. Be sure to cite your reference so that we can follow your critical analysis. Follow the four-step process to describe, analyze, interpret, and judge your chosen image. Format resources and citations according to current APA style and formatting. Post your results in the discussion area.

    The Dome of the Rock

In the center of Jerusalem rises the Haram al-Sharif (“Noble Sanctuary”), a rocky outcrop from which Muslims believe Muhammad ascended to the presence of God on the “Night Journey” described in the Qur’an, as well as the site of the First and Second Jewish Temples. Jews and Christians variously associate this place with Solomon, the site of the creation of Adam, and the place where the patriarch Abraham prepared to sacrifice his son Isaac at the command of God. In 691–692, a domed shrine was built over the rock (fig. 9–3), employing artists trained in the Byzantine tradition to create the first great monument of Islamic art. By assertively appropriating a site holy to Jews and Christians, the Dome of the Rock manifested Islam’s view of itself as completing and superseding the prophecies of those faiths.

9–3a exterior view of the dome of the rock, jerusalem

The gleaming dome sits atop a drum with intricately painted sides, which in turn sits atop an octagonal structure, painted in a matching theme. The blue background of the drum and lower structure nearly match the blue of the clear sky seen behind them.

Inside the shrine, the red-floored ambulatory surrounds the intricately painted and carved rotunda, in turn constructed around a large boulder at the center of the structure, under the high golden dome.

Structurally, the Dome of the Rock imitates the centrally planned form of Early Christian and Byzantine martyria (see figs. 7–14, 8–5). However, unlike the plain exteriors of its models, it is crowned by a golden dome that dominates the skyline. The ceramic tiles on the lower portion of the exterior were added later, but the opulent marble veneer and mosaics of the interior are original. The dome, surmounting a circular drum pierced with windows and supported by arcades of alternating piers and columns, covers the central space containing the rock (fig. 9–4), and concentric aisles (ambulatories) permit devout visitors to circumambulate it.

9–4 interior, dome of the rock

With the large rock at the center of the domed shrine’s concentric circles, the interior bears a strong resemblance to the Church of Santa Costanza, with its central altar.

    Israel. Begun 691.

The arches of the inner and outer face of the central arcade are encrusted with golden mosaics, a Byzantine technique adapted for Islamic use to create ornament and inscriptions. The pilgrim must walk around the central space first clockwise and then counterclockwise to read the inscriptions. The carpets and ceilings are modern but probably reflect the original intent.

Inscriptions from the Qur’an are interspersed with passages from other texts, including information about the building itself, to form a frieze around the inner and outer arcades. As pilgrims walk around the central space to read the inscriptions in brilliant gold mosaic on turquoise green ground, the building communicates both as a text and as a dazzling visual display. These inscriptions are especially notable because they are the oldest surviving written verses from the Qur’an and the first use of Qur’anic inscriptions in architecture. Below them, the walls are faced with marble—the veining of which creates abstract symmetrical patterns—and the rotunda is surrounded by columns of gray marble with gilded capitals. Above the calligraphic frieze is another mosaic frieze depicting symmetrical vine scrolls and trees in turquoise, blue, and green embellished with imitation jewels over a gold ground. The mosaics are variously thought to represent the gardens of Paradise and trophies of Muslim victories offered to God. Though the decorative program is extraordinarily rich, the focus of the building is neither art nor architecture but the plain rock it shelters.

    The two-party system Goverment

You need to make at least 250 words

Lots of people are frustrated with politics in America today.

One common complaint is that they two-party system is at fault. People making this complaint worry that, for example, political views not represented by the two parties – Republicans and Democrats – are excluded from political discourse. Or that having only two parties limits the choices available on election day, and if neither candidate is desirable, there’s no one left to choose.

But there is another view, as you’ve read. This other view is that blaming the two-party system for today’s problems is misguided. This argument says, among other things, that citizens of other countries with multi-party systems are no more satisfied with the state of their politics than Americans are with ours. We blame the two-party system, they say, because we think “the grass is always greener on the other side,” when really it’s not.

And, they argue, we don’t really have a two-party system, anyway. As recently as 1992, a third party, the Reform Party, got almost 19% of the national popular vote in a presidential election. But is this a good argument when, having earned 19% of the popular vote, the reform party got no electoral votes?

Given what you’ve read, what do you think about the two-party system? Should we do something to change it? If so, what?
