The intent of this assignment is to demonstrate the prevalence of project management in today’s society. Students basically have three choices of assignment:

• Research about a historical project that’s completed. Focus on what went well, what went wrong, and if you’re the project manager, what improvement suggestions do you have.
• Research about a current project that’s in progress. Focus on what is happening, what is doing well, what are the criticisms, and if you are in the project manager, what would you do differently.
• Research on a contemporary topic in project management. This can be an area of interest (e.g. working with difficult people on projects) or latest development (e.g. working on virtual, agile projects, across three time zones).

For this assignment, submit a brief description of the project (no more than 150 words) that you intend to research and write.

Researching Niger a certain area in the country

Reflect back about what you have learned in this course about how to construct high quality arguments for positions. Give an example of how the ability to construct good arguments could help you in your career or in your daily life. Also, in what ways will the skill of being able to evaluate the quality of reasoning better enable you to discover what is true and to make better choices? (Give a specific example of each).

Finally, consider the argument you have been developing for your writing assignments. How has considering objections helped you clarify your perspective? What might you add to your argument to make it more convincing in light of those objections? What points would you recommend that people keep in mind in order to be fair to both sides?

Your journal entry must be at least 250 words. You do not need to follow APA style for this journal entry, but you should proofread your work to eliminate errors of grammar and spelling.

Annotated Bib – You need to find articles that could become part of a literature review. You will not be writing a literature review, but you will be handing in an annotated bibliography. This should be an individual project or with a partner. You need to have 3 articles related to your theory (I will provide options), 3 articles about your artifact (we can talk about some options), and 3 articles that discuss your methodology. (Nine articles total) For the annotated bibliography you need to follow these directions: EACH annotated bib will be ~ 1 page in length.

Following this you need to write:
Article Summary: This should be approximately 150 – 250 words long. You should focus on the method and results. Qualitative, Quantitative, or Mixed Methods? What were the major findings? Did the article discuss any major limitations?
Article Critique: What do you think of this article? Are there problems with their method section? If so, what? How useful would this article be for you to use? 150 – 300 words
Quotation from the article: Short, but something (correctly cited) that you could use in a paper.
Keywords: Words or phrases that would help you locate these articles again.

With so many individuals using the Internet today, the psychology of the individual, the family, the community, and the society has changed. Some might argue that the traditional psychological theories cannot be applied and therefore psychology as an entire field needs to be revamped to incorporate the impact and the application of internet technology. As a student completing a bachelor’s degree in psychology, your future career will undoubtedly incorporate the use of the Internet in very new ways. Read the following article from the AUO Library:

Identify a problem area or psychological issue that could benefit from the use of an internet intervention. Now, using what you learned from the article, propose an internet intervention using the following guidelines:

1. What problem area would the internet intervention address?
2. Provide a general description of the proposed internet intervention.
3. How would the effectiveness of the proposed intervention be tested?
4. What are any legal and ethical issues related to the proposed intervention? Include the specific APA ethical standard(s) in your response.
