Question Answered step-by-step I’m needing some help writing a PICO(T) question for an article…. I’m needing some help writing a PICO(T) question for an article. The article is a correlative article, thus it does not have any intervention. The main purpose of the article is to determine how many steps nurses take in a 12-hour shift while comparing the differences between ICU and OR settings of critical care nurses and nurse anesthetists respectively. The data they gathered and compared were the steps, energy expenditure, and distance of nurses who worked in the two different settings. They noted that the night shift walked a considerable amount less than that of the day shift. Essentially, they have proved that while nursing is a laborious job, it does not meet the recommended daily steps of 10,000 which aids in promoting health. Here is the link to the article: https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/abs/pii/S0964339718304117?via%3Dihub I’m assuming P is anesthesiology and ICU nurses at selected hospitals in PolandI, there is no interventionC must be comparing total steps, energy expenditure, and distance O to see if it will meet recommended daily physical activity requirementsT over a 12 hour period Hopefully I’m close, but I’m unsure as it’s hard to tell with it being correlative Health Science Science Nursing NURSING N3321 Share QuestionEmailCopy link Comments (0)
