Write a paper of 700- to 1,050-words in which you discuss the roles of law and courts in today’s business environment.

  1. Discuss the roles of law and courts in today’s business environment.
  2. Differentiate the federal court structure with your state’s court structure.
  3. Discuss the concept of judicial review.
  4. Explain how laws or regulations affect your present job or industry.
  5. Describe various forms of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) and discuss how this is different from the court system.
  • Properly cite to at least three peer-reviewed references. “Peer-reviewed” documents are identified and defined in the Instructor Policies (Spiering, 2017, Researching Assignments). Specifically, “peer-reviewed” documents are those that require review, judgment, and approval by an independent panel of experts (scholarly or scientific peers) prior to publication. Since this is a business law course, published appellate court opinions and articles in professional business journals are peer-reviewed documents. Typically, the weekly electronic reserve readings are peer-reviewed documents. Characteristics of a scholarly, peer-reviewed article include (1) a formal format; (2) sources are cited with footnotes or a bibliography at the end of the article; and (3) authors are scholars and researchers in the field and are identified as such.
  • Use the Week 1 Grade Rubric, below, as a skeleton to all other weekly course assignments and also consider using it for future 300-400 level courses. Students interested in earning A grades for papers should pay particular attention to this suggestion. (All other weekly contain similar grade rubrics. Please use them to fulfill assignment expectations and earn solid grades.)

Format your paper consistent with APA guidelines.

Required elements

Students earn their grades based on the Grade Rubric. It will be inserted with comments at the end of each graded paper, along with other specific comments inserted directly into the paper itself. A grading scale (i.e. A -F) is provided in the Instructor Policies (Spiering, 2017). So, students earn high grades by satisfying each bullet point in each section – Content, Organization/Development and Mechanics.

Please note that the Mechanics section of the Grade Rubric requires the integration of research in APA format, including in-text and reference citations.

Safe work environments, fair wages, abuse of child labor, business and finance assignment help

  • Safe work environments, fair wages, abuse of child labor, and unfair treatment of workers are all topics that are unfortunately in the news all too often. Previously, these were problems or issues that were present in the United States. Fortunately, the legal system and regulations, for the most part, have made these issues a thing of the past. However, in many foreign countries, these problems still exist. Societies are bound to repeat their mistakes if they do not learn from the past. Therefore, research the Internet and the library for two countries where workers have experienced human rights violations or violations of labor laws.
    • Search the Internet and the library, and select at least 2 countries where workers have experienced human rights violations or violations of labor laws.
    • State your opinion as to the impact of conducting business with these countries and the ramifications of doing so.
    • What should be the legal and ethical reaction of the business community for these types of violations?

whats the differnence in the color painting

Describe two (2) color paintings by different artists (selected from the list or sources in the Explore section below) that you believe represent the following quote by Kandinsky on the subject of color in art. Justify your response. From Concerning the Spiritual in Art: “If you let your eye stray over a palette of colors, you experience two things. In the first place you receive a purely physical effect, namely the eye itself is enchanted by the beauty and other qualities of color. […] These are physical sensations, limited in duration. They are superficial, too, and leave no lasting impression behind if the soul remains closed. And so we come to the second result of looking at colors: their psychological effect. They produce a correspondent spiritual vibration, and it is only as a step towards this spiritual vibration that the physical impression is of importance. … Generally speaking, color directly influences the soul.” – Wassily Kandinsky. Discuss these ideas for the use of color and its impact in our own times, such as its effect for advertising and sales, or its impact in the workplace and home.

management accounting

In 3 to 4 sentences reply to the statement below about management accounting

  • Management accounting is the utilization of accounting information systems to help make informed business decisions to reach company objectives. There are three important principles that govern accounting management. The first principle is using accounting systems to decide who makes company decisions over the assets they own. In essence all individuals have a certain amount of decision making ability which they are given in some way like their job description. The second principle is that accounting information that is created from the accounting system supports the plan and decision making. It is crucial to have accurate information as well as the proper resources to move forward with a decision. I have seen on several occasions where my company has utilized benchmarking as another means of gathering information to see how other companies operate and cost associated. The final principle is accounting reports helps to monitor, evaluate, and rewards performance. Managers are going to try and make the best decisions with assets they are giving however those assets belong to the company in which for this reason they must be monitored to see if they are effectively being used. It is important to evaluate all of these principles and make changes where necessary to help the company reach its goals.

Essay-GMO’s They say

Select a minimum of two passages from your sources that you think are worthy of being directly quoted — remember the parameters for when it makes sense to directly quote. Pick two passages that you think are reasonably related — either in that they both support the same idea, one somehow contradicts the other, or provides additional information, etc.

Compose a paragraph that incorporates both quotations. Remember to 1) provide a strong and relevant topic sentence to encapsulate what the paragraph will discuss/argue; 2) lead-in properly to each quotation, which means prepare your audience for the content of each quotation; 3) introduce/signal the author of each (e.g. “Smith writes,”); 4) cite the quotations properly using MLA style in the parenthesis; 5) FOLLOW-UP each quotation with a response that explains YOUR position on the idea advanced in each quotation; you may also choose to use one quotation as a way of responding to the other, depending on the content. Use transitions to move us from the one passage to the next.

You must use a template provided in They Say, I Say, Chapter 3 for introducing and/or explaining your quotations.

You must use a template provided in They Say, I Say, Chapter 4 for responding to each quotation.
